Job summary

Jacksonville State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in Instructional Leadership. The successful candidate will teach graduate and doctoral-level courses in the Instructional Leadership program and will contribute to the Doctorate of Educational Leadership (EdD).

A valid Alabama Instructional Leadership certificate or equivalent credential is required, with experience supporting doctoral dissertation development.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Instructional Leadership, Educational Leadership, or closely related field.
• Valid Alabama Instructional Leadership certificate or equivalent leadership credential or the ability to earn an Alabama certification.
• Experience in P–12 educational leadership.
• Experience supporting doctoral research and dissertation development.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate and doctoral-level coursework within the Instructional Leadership program.
• Contribute substantively to the Doctorate of Educational Leadership (EdD).
• Engage in scholarly activities, service, and leadership development within the department.
