Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit | The Department of Economics https://economics.uncg.edu/offers a B.A., a B.S., an M.A. in Applied Economics, three graduate certificates, and a PhD. In addition, the Department delivers courses in the undergraduate business core and the MBA program. The Bryan School of Business and Economics has 4,100 undergraduate and graduate students and 127 full- and part-time faculty members housed in six departments. Women comprise 46.7 percent of the school's faculty and 29.1 percent are from underrepresented ethnic groups (UREG). Bryan School graduates have a strong placement rate and salary. Accredited in both business and accounting by AACSB, the Bryan School is the recipient of many rankings, honors, and accolades. Additionally, in recent years its tenure-stream faculty members averaged 2 to 3 peer-reviewed journal articles each, among them 15-20 in FT50 journals plus another 20-25 in other 4 or 4* journals (CABS AJG), in addition to books and grants.
