Bryant University is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Finance starting August 1, 2025. Ideal candidates will have teaching excellence and scholarly research skills, particularly in corporate finance, with responsibilities across undergraduate and graduate programs.
Bryant University seeks to fill a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Finance position, beginning August 1, 2025. The successful candidates will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarly research, and departmental and University service.
While applications from candidates in all areas of finance are welcome, there is a particular need for expertise in corporate finance, possibly with additional experience in fixed income or alternative investments. The successful candidate will teach in our undergraduate business program (BSBA) and our MBA program.
Bryant subscribes to databases such as CRSP, Compustat, and specialized data services supporting research on corporate governance, banking, and ESG topics. We utilize the WRDS platform, and provide access to FactSet and Bloomberg terminals.
Begins August 1, 2025. Rank is Assistant Professor. Salary is commensurate with experience and performance, aligned with AACSB salary levels.
Bryant University is a 160-year-old private institution accredited by AACSB-International and NECHE. We are dedicated to educating students to become innovative leaders with character. Our academic programs are industry- and society-oriented, with approximately 3,150 undergraduates and 415 graduate students.
Our department includes eleven tenured or tenure-track faculty and six full-time non-tenure-track faculty. We are expanding due to increasing student demand. Students can earn concentrations in finance within our BSBA and BSIB degrees, and we offer graduate courses in Finance. Note: Bryant does not have a Ph.D. program.

Ph.D. in Finance or International Finance from an AACSB-International or EQUIS-accredited institution. ABD candidates with completion expected by June 2025 will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate teaching excellence, scholarly productivity aligned with AACSB standards, and active participation in the Bryant community. The ability to teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels is required. Potential for future research activities and service is highly desirable.
