UH West Oʻahu, Education Division, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations to begin August 1, 2027. The position emphasizes field-based pre-K–12 experiences with SPED, CLD, EMT, and mentoring field teachers.

Candidates design and supervise practicums, teach three 3-credit courses per semester (online, hybrid, or on‑campus), travel to field sites, and contribute to curriculum development and service.

Formación

• Earned doctorate in Education with specialization in Educational Foundations and related areas.
• Three or more years of exemplary pre-K-12 teaching and supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Teach three 3-credit courses per semester (online, hybrid or on campus).
• Supervise and mentor pre-K-12 teacher candidates in field-based practicums and student teaching.
• Travel to various field experience sites and maintain relationships with school partners.
• Engage in scholarly activity and service to the division and campus.
