The College of Education at the University of Houston-Clear Lake invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership position in the Department of Transformative Leadership, Counseling, and Innovation, with an anticipated start date of August 2027. We seek a scholar with significant PreK-12 district or central office leadership experience who is committed to preparing the next generation of educational leaders. The successful candidate will contribute to the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and M.S. in Educational Leadership and Administration programs through teaching, research, dissertation supervision, and service. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and collegially with faculty, staff, students, school and district partners, and other community stakeholders.
The Department of Transformative Leadership, Counseling, and Innovation is a thriving academic unit within the College of Education. The department offers graduate programs in Educational Leadership, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling, Instructional Design and Technology, and School Library Science. Department faculty are committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service while preparing scholar-practitioners to address complex challenges in educational and organizational settings.
