The Department of Economics, which is in the Farmer School ofBusiness, has approximately 500 undergraduate majors and 15students in its Master’s of Economics program. High qualityteaching and research are both valued in the department, which iscomposed of approximately 25 tenured/tenure-track, teaching, andvisiting faculty.
Submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching statement,evidence of teaching performance (if available), and researchsample to the AEA's job application system and to Miami. Theteaching statement should address how the candidate fostersclassroom engagement with respect to student background andlearning style.
