Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Philosophy or to be completed by date of hire.
• Active research agenda in Early Modern Philosophy.
• Evidence of effective teaching.
• Preferred: expertise in Medieval Philosophy or 19th-Century Philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Pursue an active research agenda in Early Modern Philosophy.
• Teach four courses per academic year at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Contribute to graduate education and mentoring of graduate students.
• Provide service to the department, the university, and the profession.
• Potentially teach in Medieval or 19th-Century Philosophy to meet department needs.
