Qualifications

  • PhD in kinesiology, biomechanics, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, exercise science, physiology, or closely-related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in biomechanics of human movement.
  • Evidence of a sustainable and focused research program.
  • Experience with advanced laboratory methodologies (clinical, basic, biomechanical, or computational).
  • Strong publication record in kinesiology.
  • Evidence of high-quality teaching and mentoring in kinesiology.
  • Evidence of strong communication, collaboration, and leadership within a research team.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and sustain an extramurally-funded research program.
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses.
  • Mentor graduate students and serve on dissertation committees.
  • Perform faculty service.
