Alfred State invites passionate nursing professionals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track Practical Nursing Professor position beginning in Fall 2026. A 12-month appointment is preferred; however, a 10-month pro-rated appointment may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging course materials.
• Teach and evaluate students in classrooms, labs, and clinical settings.
• Mentor and advise students throughout their nursing journey.
• Participate in curriculum development, faculty recruitment and evaluation, didactic, skills, and clinical instruction.
• Budget management, student retention, and maintaining clinical partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctorate in Nursing or related field.
