Job Description:

Seeking part-time Adjunct Professors and/or full-time Temporary Lecturer with the ability to teach a variety of lower-level math courses (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Survey of Mathematics, and Introductory Statistics courses) and possible tutoring sessions for the Fall 2026semester. This is an on-campus, face-to-face position. Based on department needs, the position may be for 1 or more course up to a full course load.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. If you currently need sponsorship or will need it in the future to maintain employment authorization, you do not meet eligibility requirements. Additionally, please note that Alfred State College is not an E-Verify employer.

Additional Information:

Our Adjunct Rates start at $1,836per lecture credit and $1,377 per lab credit.
