University of West Florida is seeking an Assistant Professor of Finance to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, covering Problems in Corporate Finance, Investments, and Financial Management, both in person and online.

To teach undergraduate and graduate classes in Finance (face-to-face and online), especially courses associated with Problems in Corporate Finance (the capstone finance course), Investments, Financial Management, and other Finance-related courses to adequately provide a good foundation in Finance and to prepare students for other classes within the department and the Lewis Bear Jr. College of Business. This position will teach three classes each fall and spring. This position will also serve on departmental, college, and university committees. This faculty member will maintain professional affiliations and contribute to professional activities. The person in this position must retain their scholarly academic qualifications. This position will mentor students and provide advice on professional endeavors. This position may require teaching at the nearby Fort Walton Beach campus of the university (approximately 50 miles east of the Pensacola campus).
Holds the highest degree appropriate to the field or possesses equivalent qualifications based on professional experience, and be otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. The appointee engages in teaching, scholarship and creative projects, and/or service and other related activities.
