Texas State University’s Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Public Administration, beginning Fall 2027.

The successful candidate will teach required and elective undergraduate and graduate Public Administration courses at San Marcos and Round Rock campuses, including day and evening offerings, in-person, online, hybrid, and accelerated formats.

• Develop new courses and contribute to the core Public Administration curriculum; engage in departmental service.

The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning Fall 2027, to teach required and elective graduate and undergraduate courses in Public Administration. The Department awards the Bachelor of Public Administration degree and the Master of Public Administration degree.

Applicants must be able and willing to teach undergraduate and graduate public administration courses in San Marcos and Round Rock, Texas, including day and evening courses. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach and develop courses in the core public administration curriculum in in-person, fully online, hybrid, and accelerated formats.
