The Grace Abbott School of Social Work invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position. We’re looking for an educator and scholar committed to preparing students for meaningful, effective professional practice through strong teaching, applied research, and community collaboration.

Required Qualifications:

• MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited program and at least two years of post-MSW practice experience.
• Doctorate in Social Work or a related field (ABD considered if degree completion is expected within one year).
• Evidence of potential for teaching excellence and scholarly productivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensure or eligibility for licensure in clinical social work.
• Professional experience in areas such as behavioral health, trauma, family services, or substance use.
• Experience developing and teaching online or hybrid courses.
• Background of teaching in multiple modalities.
