Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years' experience or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
• Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals.
• Strong financial and analytical ability; proficiency in business analytics.
• Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
• Proven track record of successful change management, productivity and cost reduction programs.
• Strong and convincing communication skills.
• Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

Responsibilities

• Confers with management to establish production and quality standards.
• Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control.
• Reviews reports to identify nonconformities and operating problems with supervisors.
• Minimizes scrap and ensures clean workstations and proper stocking of supplies.
• Monitors production metrics and prepares monthly report cards to drive improvements.
