Job summary

Exentec in Phoenix seeks an experienced Assistant Production Manager to lead a production group manufacturing gas supply equipment for the semiconductor industry. You will supervise daily activities, manage schedules, and ensure quality and safety.

This hands-on leadership role involves training welders and assembly teams, coordinating with Materials, Quality, and Engineering, and preparing build packages for customer approval.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• Experience writing ECRs and implementing process improvements.
• Ability to train welders and assembly teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead production workers and ensure daily goals are met.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduler for schedules and output.
• Provide feedback on resource availability and constraints.
• Create build packages and documentation for approvals.
• Identify process improvements and implement cost/time savings.
• Enforce safety protocols and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and support ECRs.
• Collaborate with Materials, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Read drawings and communicate issues clearly.
