Job description

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:35am - 5:20pm

Specific Duties

Supervision of Crew

Oversee and cultivate a safe, productive, and supportive work environment

  • Train crew members in production procedures
  • Observe and evaluate crew members and work procedures to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met
  • Provide praise and constructive feedback for crew members, redirecting as needed
  • Communicate clearly so that all expectations are shared and understood
  • Solicit and respond to feedback from crew members

Production Management

Help lead Production of products (depending on business need and candidate aptitude)

  • Learn every day. We are a small and growing team, and how we operate changes frequently
  • Oversee production of Barnacle’s products, ensuring adherence to Barnacle’s procedures and process controls
  • Ensure that production processes are executed accurately, exercising attention to detail and time management skills
  • Recommend measures for improving work procedures and crew performance to increase quality, efficiency, and job satisfaction
  • Clean and sanitize the processing area, dishes, and equipment
  • Carefully weigh, record, and assemble products following detailed procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Package products for shipping following different protocols for wholesale and online orders
