• Support daily operations of the produce department to ensure product availability, quality, and presentation.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through proper stock control and product rotation.
• Ensure all produce is handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with company and food safety standards.
• Monitor product quality and freshness, ensuring timely removal or disposition of unsellable items.
• Supervise and support department staff to ensure adherence to procedures and standards.
• Assist with merchandising, signage, and product displays to maintain an organized department.
• Support receiving processes by verifying incoming product for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and compliance with policies.

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a leadership or supervisory support role
• Familiarity with perishable inventory and food safety standards
• Background in high-volume retail or wholesale environments

Work Environment / ExpectationsPrimarily warehouse or retail environment with temperature-controlled areas. Requires standing, walking, and handling products for extended periods. May require schedule flexibility based on department needs.
