Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven capacity to balance exemplary classroom practice with the complex responsibilities of a school leadership role.
• Evidence of an experienced, approachable and collaborative leader with a proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with students, families, staff and the wider community.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative leadership team and lead initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Knowledge and commitment to the Connected Communities Strategy and targeted programs meeting key deliverables.
• Good planning, leadership in curriculum, assessment and student welfare, to lead inclusive programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to engage students, staff and parents.
• Ability to plan and manage resources effectively to support teaching and learning.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Aboriginal education policy.
