Job summary

IRVING ISD seeks an Associate Principal to assist the principal in administering the instructional program and campus operations. The role requires evaluating instructional programs, curriculum planning, and staff development to support student achievement.

The candidate will work with the Building Principal and Teaching and Learning department to monitor programs, supervise staff, and coordinate graduation activities, while upholding Texas education laws and district policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree is required.
• Valid Texas Administrator's Certificate is required.
• Minimum three years' classroom teaching experience.
• Prior instructional leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor instructional program through lesson plan reviews, classroom observations, staff conferences, and data analysis.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the curriculum with the principal.
• Provide campus‑level staff development in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain a positive staff morale and a conducive teaching/learning environment.
• Coordinate campus graduation ceremonies and related activities.
• Assist in budget development and fiscal management for the campus.
