The ideal candidate holds NYS Administrator's Certification, has prior administrative experience, and will partner with the Principal to guide committees, supervise staff, use data to inform decisions, and engage families and the community to promote student success.

Qualifications

• NYS Administrator's Certification required; Prior administrative experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience using data to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, structured school culture.
• Ensure the school runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Use data to inform student-centered decisions regarding academics and behavior.
• Partner with the Principal in leading building committees and teams.
• Lead building safety initiatives.
• Analyze data with teachers to determine how to meet students' needs.
• Manage teachers' duties and schedules to support building flow.
• Participate in the STEPS process with teachers and the evaluation process with staff.
• Provide professional development for teachers.
• Be visible in the community and at district events.
• Build relationships with students and families.
• Provide clear communication to parents with 2-way communication.
• Respond to parent concerns promptly and effectively with care and follow-through.
• Work with staff to support positive family interactions between the school and home.
