Qualifications

• Must hold North Carolina licensure as a Principal/School Administrator.
• Reports to Principal and Associate Superintendent of School Support.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of student orientation and registration activities.
• Assist in the development and establishment of school goals and objectives and planning of the school’s instructional program.
• Provide direction to staff in implementing goals and objectives and meet with staff to assist in their development.
• Assist in the evaluation of the school program and staff and initiate needed improvements.
• Involve staff in setting budget priorities.
• Upgrade own professional knowledge and skills.
• Assist in budget/schedule preparation and in coordinating/co‑curricular program.
• Disseminate information about discipline, policy, and procedures to parents, students, staff, and community.
• Communicate policies and program goals to the community.
• Supervise and maintain auxiliary services and use community resources to supplement the school program.
• Promote open communications and high expectations; model core values of caring, respect, integrity, responsibility, fairness.
