Job summary

Nimitz Senior High School in Aldine ISD is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Principal. The campus administrator will lead instructional programs, supervise staff, and support student achievement across the campus.

Qualified applicants will hold a Master's degree in educational administration, a Texas principal or administrator certificate, and be prepared to pursue T-TESS appraiser certification and ILD/IL T courses within 3 months.

• General qualifications: teacher and principal, administrators, mid-management, or Texas certificate
• Certified appraiser for the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) or must be obtained within 3 months of start date
• Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) certificate or its equivalent ILD/ILT or must be obtained within 3 months of start date
• Minimum three (3) years successful experience as a teacher
• Proven success in improvement of student outcomes
