The Nashua School District seeks an Assistant Principal at Pennichuck Middle School to lead instructional improvement and administrative supervision. The position starts in the 2026-2027 school year and carries a salary commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will serve as acting principal in the absence of the Principal, assist in personnel selection, observe and evaluate staff, and help manage attendance, discipline, and student scheduling processes.

Candidates must be NH certified or eligible as a Principal. The certification requires a Masters degree in Administration or Leadership and three successful years as an educator. The preferred candidate with have five years educational experience, including significant administrative/supervisory and teaching and learning experiences.
Serve as acting principal during the absence of the Principal; assist the Principal with the improvement of the instructional program and inherent supervisory duties; assist in selection of personnel; observes and together with principal, evaluates teachers, paraprofessionals and school nurse; supervise substitutes and student teachers; assume primary responsibility for student attendance and discipline; assist in the preparation of pupil schedules and assignments: serve on the Special Education placement team in the absence of the Principal; Perform such duties as the Principal may assign.
