Job summary

Children’s Treehouse is seeking an Assistant Principal to partner with the Principal in daily operations, staff development, and maintaining a consistent classroom experience. You will contribute to a positive environment for children, families, and staff.

The role emphasizes leadership, scheduling, staffing, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering growth and strong family relations.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education, school administration, or similar setting
  • Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
  • Must meet state education, certification (including CPR/First Aid where required) and licensing/health requirements
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build positive relationships
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

  • Assist in running daily school operations and creating a safe, engaging environment for children
  • Support teachers and classrooms, stepping in for coverage as needed
  • Build strong relationships with families and provide a great experience
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing, and enrollment activities such as tours
  • Coach and support teachers to help them succeed
  • Follow all safety, licensing, and school procedures

ABOUT THE ROLE
