Job summary

Today's Kids in Suwanee is seeking a Principal (Director) to lead a vibrant early childhood program, ensuring safety, compliance, and exceptional learning experiences for children and families. You will shape school culture, drive enrollment, coach a high-performing team, and partner with families while meeting licensing standards, curricular goals, and budget objectives.

You’ll report to network leadership, manage operations, curriculum implementation, staff development, and community outreach

Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.
  • 3–5 years of leadership experience in early childhood education or school administration.
  • Experience with licensing, accreditation standards, and compliance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Principal, you’ll be responsible for the overall success of your school, leading operations, developing your team, and driving enrollment and performance. You’ll ensure a safe, compliant environment while delivering high-quality experience for children, families, and staff.

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, Education, or a related field or combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in early childhood education, school administration, or a similar operational setting.
  • Previous teaching experience in early childhood education preferred, with demonstrated progression into leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of state licensing regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Must meet all state-specific Director qualifications and credentialing requirements.
  • Must meet all state-specific education, certification (including CPR/First Aid, where required), licensing, and regulatory requirements, including the ability to pass a background check and complete ongoing professional development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with families, staff, and the community.
