Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ECE units preferred.
• Experience with preschool or early childhood settings desired.
• Knowledge of child development principles and best practices.
• Patient, compassionate demeanor with young children.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet state licensing requirements.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for preschoolers.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
• Assist with development and implementation of early childhood curriculum; communicate with parents about progress.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space.
• Observe and document child behavior and developmental milestones.
