Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager to lead and support a busy optical practice in Peoria, AZ. You will help deliver exceptional patient care, drive daily operations, and cultivate a collaborative team environment on the practice floor.

In this hands‑on role, you will coordinate patient flow, support front desk and clinical workflows, and assist with onboarding, coaching, and practice readiness under the guidance of the Practice Manager.

Qualifications

• Optical/healthcare or comparable service experience required.
• Experience in one or more optical or practice functions preferred.
• 1–2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Practice Manager with daily operations and patient flow.
• Support multiple practice functions on the floor, including patient care coordination.
• Help with onboarding, coaching, and team development.
• Communicate priorities and service standards to the team.
• Partner with Optometrist to support exam flow and readiness.
