Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and manages the operations and activities of one or more health programs within an ambulatory clinic; responsible for day-to-day activities related to access, efficiency, productivity, service experience, scheduling, billing, provider communication and quality of care.
• Provides analysis and prepares reports to support specific areas of the clinic or program, including grant programs and reporting.
• Makes regular rounds to units to evaluate status of patient care, operation and environment of the units and staff needs; evaluates progress of assigned areas and plans, implements and evaluates programs to meet current and anticipated needs.
• Addresses issues raised by providers, staff, patients and other internal/external customers; builds a culture of trust and collective problem-solving; leads quality improvement initiatives.
• Coaches staff daily; develops, implements and audits standard work.
• Supervises specific grant-funded positions and/or subset of staff within the clinic or program, including daily supervision and management of assignments; regularly evaluates these staff performance and maintains a culture of accountability; addresses any performance issues as needed.
• Promotes patient and staff satisfaction; regularly evaluates satisfaction survey results and addresses areas of improvement.
• Partners with Ambulatory system leaders to plan, implement and evaluate initiatives that improve access, quality, safety, and the care experience.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

• Required Education: High school diploma
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business or related field.
• Required Experience: Three years of health care experience.
• Preferred Experience: Supervisory experience.
• Pay Range: $51.84 - $86.40 / Hour

The pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization.
