Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support HV construction/operation, ensuring successful project execution. This full-time on-site role travels locally and interstate and is based on a jobsite in Denver, CO or Texas.

The role collaborates with engineering and procurement teams to manage budgets, schedules, safety and stakeholder coordination. Ideal candidates will have 3–4 years of substations design/construction experience, PMP or equivalent expertise, strong English

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years of work related experience in design and/or construction of power substations.
• PMP certification, or direct relevant industry experience preferred, skilled with knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and installation.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations.
• Ability to work, analyze, troubleshoot and prioritize problems independently.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficiency and knowledgeable in office practices, procedures and equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and coordinate P6 scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and communicate all Project Engineer responsibilities to ensure project success.
• Review interconnection agreements, requirements and system studies for compliance.
• Assist in preparing HV budgets and forecasts.
• Develop subcontractor scopes of work and support subcontracting efforts with PM.
• Manage HV subcontractors (billings, RFIs, status reports, risk).
• Participate in kick-off meetings and coordination meetings with utilities and owners.
