Top Echelon Software, LLC in the Fredericksburg, VA area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for heavy civil highway and utility projects across Virginia. You will work alongside a senior PM on roadway and utility work, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

The role requires 3+ years on heavy civil projects, DOT experience preferred, and a BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Competenze

• 3+ years on heavy civil, highway or utility projects as a Field Engineer, Project Engineer or APM.
• VDOT or other DOT project experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and cost tracking.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
• HeavyJob, Bluebeam or P6 experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Based in Virginia or ready to relocate, relocation assistance available.

Mansioni

• Drive submittals, RFIs and procurement so field crews stay ahead of the work.
• Coordinate subcontractors and supplier purchase orders.
• Track quantities, production and cost against budget.
• Prepare monthly pay applications and cost projections.
• Support schedule updates and change management.
• Work with VDOT inspectors and owner representatives.
• Keep project documentation clean and current.
• Take part in weekly schedule and cost reviews with the project team.
• Support a strong jobsite safety culture.
