RRC Solutions Group in Virginia is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for heavy civil highway and utility projects, including VDOT work. You will work alongside a senior PM to manage submittals, RFI, procurement, schedule, and cost controls on DOT-driven sites.

Relocation to Fredericksburg area is available; candidates from across the state or beyond are encouraged to apply. This is a hands-on role with growth to manage projects.

Competenze

• 3+ years on heavy civil, highway or utility projects as a Field Engineer, Project Engineer or APM.
• VDOT or other DOT project experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and cost tracking.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent field experience.
• HeavyJob, Bluebeam or P6 experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license.
• Based in Virginia or ready to relocate, relocation assistance available.

Mansioni

• Drive submittals, RFIs and procurement so field crews stay ahead of the work.
• Coordinate subcontractors and supplier purchase orders.
• Track quantities, production and cost against budget.
• Prepare monthly pay applications and cost projections.
• Support schedule updates and change management.
• Work with VDOT inspectors and owner representatives.
• Keep project documentation clean and current.
• Take part in weekly schedule and cost reviews with the project team.
• Support a strong jobsite safety culture.
