Job summary

Infinity Contractors in Tampa, Florida is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the growth of our construction projects. You will report to the Project Manager and play a key role in document control, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors to keep projects moving smoothly.

The ideal candidate has a four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent field, 1–2+ years of commercial construction experience, excellent verbal and written

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent field
• 1–2+ years of commercial construction experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to work full-time on construction sites
• Strong mathematical skills
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office, Excel, and Word

Responsibilities

• Document control of project documents, including specifications, plans, submittals, subcontracts, shop drawings, scheduling, and any other project-specific documents
• Manage administrative procedures and maintain all records for the project
• Coordination of subcontractors, including review of scope, submittals, and schedules; Punch-list and project close-out activities
• Evaluate subcontractor change proposals and prepare change orders with support from the Project Manager
• Maintain and complete pay applications with the support of the Project Manager
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with Owners, Engineers, municipal inspectors, and other team members
