Job summary

HDR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Minnesota to join our Building Engineering Services team. You will coordinate multi-discipline work with a Project Manager, support marketing and project planning, and help build relationships with clients and HDR staff.

You will travel to project sites as required and contribute to delivering design deliverables on time while maintaining QA/QC standards. A background in building engineering and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 5 years related experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams, excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Attitude and commitment to employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s life cycle under supervision of a Project Manager.
• Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project.
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently.
• Coordinate staffing and workload through the project life cycle and ensure deliverables on schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate work to stay within budget and schedule.
• Support project reviews with Accounting, Operations and Business leadership.
• Implement QA/QC procedures.
