Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Building Engineering Services Group. You will coordinate multi-discipline teams and help deliver projects from development through close-out while aligning with HDR's employee-owned culture and commitment to innovation.

You will work on projects across data centers, industrial, and infrastructure spaces, collaborating with design teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Professional Engineer or Licensed Architect.
• Experience within the industry of building engineering design projects such as: Data Centers, Semiconductor, Industrial, or Infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 5 years related experience.
• Ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication skills.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee‑owned culture is a must.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle (from development and initiation to close-out), while under supervision of a Project Manager.
• Responsible for many aspects of a small project or a single aspect of a larger project.
• Coordinate workload through project execution and complete deliverables on budget and schedule.
• Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.
