Job summary

Jostens is seeking an Assistant Plant Controller in Clarksville, TN to ensure accurate financial information, compliant processes, and timely reporting. You will participate in budgeting, forecasts, and billing oversight for the Clarksville plant and remote locations.

You will lead a small finance team, ensure SOX compliance, and collaborate with purchasing and HR to drive efficiency across the plant. A degree in financial accounting and 3–5 years of accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• Financial accounting degree from accredited four-year institution.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines, handle confidential data appropriately, and deal with multiple projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Access, and Accounting tools.
• Prefer Management/Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide accurate and timely financial reports to management.
• Ensure all transactions are fiscally responsible and comply with all company and local/state/federal regulations.
• Manage yearbook billing function within Clarksville plant and oversee remote Billing locations.
• Develop annual plan and quarterly forecasts.
• Assist purchasing function for the location.
• Supervisory responsibilities including selection, promotion, transfer, pay and discipline of assigned personnel.
• Communicate duties clearly and manage performance reviews and improvement plans.
• Support development of assigned personnel’s skills and abilities.
