Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking an Assistant Planner in New York to support inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and product flow across the beauty supply chain. You will collaborate with merchandising, sales, logistics, and store teams to improve availability and retail performance.

You will analyze inventory data, support planning activities, and provide timely insights on launches and priorities to strengthen in-store execution within a fast-paced beauty environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of planning or inventory management experience in beauty or retail.
• Education or experience in supply chain management, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, organization, and attention to detail.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and logical formulas.
• Clear written and verbal communication and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in the beauty industry and awareness of current market trends.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and logical formulas.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
