The Department of Medicine, Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is seeking applications for a full time clinical faculty position. An Assistant or Associate Professor level, academic transplant hepatologist is wanted to work in the Center for Liver Disease & Transplantation (CLDT), part of the Abdominal Organ Transplant Division within the Department of Surgery.
The clinical faculty is responsible for comprehensive care of patients with hepatobiliary disorders, including pre- and post-transplant care, on-call coverage of Liver service, participation in the education of fellows, residents and medical students; participation in outreach, participation in clinical and/or basic science research, participation in compliance and quality care programs of the University and of the Departments of Medicine and Surgery.
