Qualifications

  • MD degree from an LCME-accredited medical school.
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited fellowship in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.
  • Meet UNOS qualifications as a transplant physician.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for hepatobiliary disorders and transplant patients.
  • Deliver pre-transplant and post-transplant hepatology care.
  • Participate in liver service call coverage.
  • Educate and mentor fellows, residents, and medical students.
  • Participate in outreach initiatives and program development.
  • Engage in clinical and/or basic science research activities.
  • Support quality improvement, compliance, and patient safety initiatives.
