Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Human Performance, or related field by December 2026.
• ABD candidate may be considered with clearly established completion date.
• Evidence of strong teaching, research, and service.
• Understanding of contemporary approaches to areas such as exercise physiology, physical activity, health and wellness, and/or human performance.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Kinesiology in traditional and online formats (4-course or equivalent teaching load in the fall and spring semesters).
• Teach courses appropriate to the candidate's expertise in areas such as motor development and learning, adapted physical activity, fitness and wellness, exercise science, human performance, or related areas.
• Contribute to curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain an appropriate scholarly agenda consistent with expectations for a tenure-track faculty appointment; and
• Contribute to the college and university's mission through assigned service.
