Job summary

Bunge in Abilene, KS is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support inventory control, cost management, and logistics across the grain facility. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure readiness, schedules, and asset protection while driving efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance, supervising onsite workers and contractors, ensuring regulatory compliance, and pursuing opportunities to optimize mix and storage through effective space

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work and interact well with others.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in an elevator and/or terminal preferred.
• Farming background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory control and cost management.
• Support Operations Manager in facility improvements and planning.
• Schedule preventive maintenance to ensure OSHA-compliant grain handling operations.
• Lead onsite workers, contractors, temps, and service providers.
• Ensure safety, regulatory, environmental compliance and asset security.
