Job summary

The Assistant Operations Manager at Bunge in Missouri oversees inventory control, cost management and logistics for the Phelps City facility. You will assist with equipment maintenance, space planning and production scheduling to keep the facility prepared and efficient.

You will work closely with the Operations Manager to lead on-site teams, ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and asset protection while pursuing opportunities to improve processes and performance.

Qualifications

• Ability to work and interact well with others.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience working in an elevator and/or terminal.
• Farming background a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist inventory control and help ensure costs stay in line with the operational plan.
• Support development and execution of facility improvements.
• Aid in maximizing mix & blend opportunities through space allocation and in‑house stocks.
• Assist in scheduling preventative maintenance to maintain a safe, OSHA-compliant facility.
• Help develop operational staff and Production planning to guarantee uninterrupted operations.
• Assist in energy conservation and asset security to reduce costs and exposures.
