Role Overview
The Assistant Operations Manager will oversee daily operations across all locations, ensuring seamless execution in key areas: people management, HR, scheduling, billing, and overall clinic performance. This role requires someone who is operationally excellent, detail-oriented, and thrives in a leadership position where no two days look the same. Experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & People Management: Lead, manage, and coach clinic staff across multiple locations; build a positive, high-accountability culture.
- Multi-Location Operations: Oversee day-to-day operations across clinics to ensure consistent, high-quality patient experiences.
- Scheduling & Resource Management: Optimize and manage clinic schedules, staff coverage, and patient flow to maximize efficiency.
- Billing & Financial Oversight: Collaborate with billing teams to ensure accurate, timely billing and manage key financial KPIs.
- HR & Compliance: Oversee HR-related activities including hiring, onboarding, training, performance reviews, and regulatory compliance.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational improvements to drive efficiency, scalability, and service excellence.
- Strategic Execution: Work closely with leadership to execute growth initiatives and operational strategies.
- Problem-Solving: Be a proactive self-starter who tackles challenges head-on and thrives in a fast-changing environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Operations Management experience (preferably in healthcare or multi-location businesses)
- Proven experience managing and developing teams
- Strong understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and compliance
- Familiarity with billing processes and financial oversight in a healthcare setting
- Exceptional organizational skills — ability to juggle schedules, deadlines, and multiple priorities
- A "builder" mindset — you love creating systems that scale
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- High level of ownership, initiative, and drive
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred but not required)
