Pee Dee Regional Transportation Authority (PDRTA) is seeking a Program and Technology Technician to deliver daily technical support for agency technology, hardware, and software. You will collaborate with the Technology and Program Manager to implement strategic initiatives and manage system-wide updates.

The role requires a degree in computer science or related field with at least five years of related experience; additional experience may substitute for education.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Five years of related experience and/or training.
• Corresponding years of experience may substitute for the degree.

Overview

The Program and Technology Technician is responsible for providing day-to-day technical support and systems management to ensure smooth operation of agency technology, hardware, and software systems. Collaborates with the Technology and Program Manager to implement strategic initiatives, manage company system-wide technology updates, and support cross-departmental technology integration. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, a program must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Must receive a negative result from a non-DOT pre-employment drug screen and pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related field
• Five years related experience and/or training
• Corresponding years of experience may be considered as a substitute for the level of education desired

Salary

Starting Salary will be commensurate with years of experience and/or advanced educational degree.
