Job summary

CLD Physical Security Systems USA is seeking an hands-on Assistant Operations Manager to own fast-moving logistics and warehouse operations across the USA. You will work with the US Head of Operations to coordinate inventory, orders, deliveries and warehouse standards, ensuring products reach customers safely and on time.

You will help sustain continuous improvement, travel within the USA as needed and drive safe, accurate operations while building strong internal and external relationships.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, practical problem-solving in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent organisation with attention to detail; proficient with Excel and operational systems.

• Prepare and verify customer orders, ensuring documentation, quality and load security.
• Coordinate incoming materials and last-mile deliveries with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and yard, applying safety procedures and standards.
• Resolve customer and quality issues quickly and drive practical improvements.

Ready to take ownership of fast-moving operations where accuracy, safety and customer service truly matter? CLD Physical Security Systems is looking for a hands‑on Assistant Operations Manager to help deliver high-performance logistics and warehouse operations across the USA.

Working closely with our US Head of Operations, you will coordinate inventory, order fulfilment, deliveries, warehouse standards and continuous improvement. You will be at the heart of ensuring the right products reach customers safely, accurately and on time.

What you’ll do

• Maintain accurate inventory records, identify stock risks and coordinate replenishment through US and UK supply chains.
• Prepare, stage and verify customer orders, ensuring documentation, product quality and load security are right first time.
• Coordinate incoming materials and last-mile deliveries with customers, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse and yard, consistently applying safety procedures and operational standards.
• Resolve customer and quality issues quickly, close out internal defects and champion practical improvements.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, project delivery, warehousing or a related environment.
• A proven ability to coordinate people, priorities, workflows and operational resources.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, practical approach to solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and confidence using Excel and operational systems.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, quality and continuous improvement principles.
• Flexibility to travel within the USA when required.
