Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, year-end close, monthly reporting, and financial statement prep.
• Finance or accounting degree; CPA strongly preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• High integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure accurate financial information.
• Manage the year-end close process and ensure reports are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.
• Oversee monthly financial reports with insightful analysis and commentary.
• Assist in preparing annual financial statements in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to explain financial implications of decisions.
• Participate in special projects to improve processes and systems.
