Job summary

Rosendin, one of the nation’s largest employee‑owned electrical contractors, seeks an Assistant Corporate Operational Controller to oversee financial integrity across nationwide operations. This senior manager role drives month‑end close, reports, and KPI analyses while guiding teams and partnering with project leaders to ensure profitability and compliance.

The position emphasizes GAAP, ASC 606, and strong leadership to support strategic decision‑making in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience.
CPA designation strongly preferred.
8+ years in operational or corporate accounting; 3–5 years in leadership.
Experience in construction industry is highly desirable.
Experience with ERP systems (Workday/SAP/Oracle) preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee month-end and year-end close for designated segments; revenue recognition, COGS, project profitability.
Prepare and review financial statements, operational reports, and KPIs; provide insights to leadership.
Maintain internal controls and policies; identify improvements.
Collaborate with Operations Managers and Project Teams on forecasts and risks.
Mentor and develop the accounting team; lead special process-improvement projects.
Contribute to enterprise-level over/under billing strategies and cash flow forecasting.
Provide GAAP guidance across operational finance activities.
