Job description

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various administrative and operational tasks, including accounting support, warehouse management, logistics, data entry, inventory control, international shipping, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Accounting Support: Assist with basic accounting tasks, such as invoicing, expense tracking, and financial record-keeping.
  2. Warehouse Management: Oversee the in/out flow of goods, manage stock controls, and ensure accurate inventory records.
  3. Logistics Coordination: Understand logistics processes, negotiate rates with transport companies, and coordinate pickups and drop-offs.
  4. Data Entry & Inventory Control: Maintain accurate data entry for inventory systems and ensure inventory levels are properly managed.
  5. Shipping: Handle international shipping processes, including the management of shipping containers and compliance with regulations.
  6. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Must Haves:
  • Proven experience in accounting support, warehouse management, logistics, data entry, inventory control, international shipping, and/or customer service.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong understanding of how logistics work, as well as how to manage those relationships.
  • Willingness to travel out of state as needed (not often).
Plusses:
  • Familiarity with accounting software and inventory management systems.
  • Experience in negotiating with transport companies.
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures.
Compensation:

$50,000 to $55,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
