L’Arche St. Louis is seeking an Assistant (Nursing Student Position) to gain hands-on care experience while fitting around class schedules. The role involves supervised caregiving for adults with I/DD in a residential setting, with flexible morning, afternoon, and some overnight shifts.

Ideal for nursing students from SLU, UMSL, and StLCC, the position emphasizes compassionate care, ADLs support, and participation in community activities. Training is provided in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Sarting rate $21.00 hourly
• Flexible scheduling available, includes morning shifts and afternoon/evening shifts, occasional overnight shifts available
• Receive direct supervision while performing delegated nursing duties and providing compassionate care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in their comfortable, residential home
• Assist with Activities of Daily Livings (ADLs)
• Coordinate and participate in community outings
• Provide occasional client transportation using safe, dedicated agency vehicles
