Job summary

University of Hawai'i at Manoa, School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene, seeks two non-tenure eligible Assistant Instructors for the BS Nursing Program. Positions are full-time, 9-month, starting Spring Semester 2027, with renewal contingent on needs and funds. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing from a college or university of recognized standing.
• Current unrestricted RN license to practice in Hawaiʻi.
• Minimum of one year of full-time work experience in nursing.
• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively and provide clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and pre-licensure nursing courses (adult health, psychiatric, pediatric, obstetric).
• Participate in curriculum development and didactic, lab practicum and clinical settings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
