Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field; certification in specialty area preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or eligible.
• AHA BLS Certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provides unit leadership and management under the Nurse Manager.
• Oversees human resources management and daily unit operations.
• Ensures regulatory compliance, risk management, and financial stewardship.
• Plans, organizes, coordinates, monitors and evaluates patient care on the unit.
• Contributes to unit strategic planning and program development; maintains 24-hour responsibility for the unit.
